CHRISTOPHER NJUGUNA MARANDU Growing up,my schooling was “learning through doing” which has most definitely defined the way I live, learn and work today. Working with people and organizations with limited resources but big ideas to grow and produce positive change in the world is the reason I get up in the morning! In 2015 I got a scholarship with the Africa yoga project academy an American based Organization that used the teaching and skills of toga to change lives. Through the project I have completed Baptiste Power Yoga level 1&2, art of assists, advanced art of assists and Y.O.D levels 1&2 teachers training certificate. I started my yoga practice in 2012 through community based program and since my first class I practice yoga till to date.As an instructor my goal is helping and guiding clients or students to achieve their goals in fitness or overall well-being for a healthy lifestyle. Through the art and teaching of yoga I have worked with school,cancer care centers,children’s home and private institutions in creating a healthy and happy community through the art of yoga. When am not doing work related projects I spent my time with my two daughters or spend some time in nature parks.
