I am a wellness coach and yoga Instructor. I have been teaching yoga and Wellness for the past 9 years. I have started practicing yoga in 2013 after I was invited by my friend and since then I continued the journey of yoga and Wellness until now. Back in 2013 before I started practicing yoga I was battling the condition of insomnia and it was my fifth year living with it.

Thanks to yoga, breathing exercises, and mindfulness I have fully recovered from the condition and because of that, I have committed myself to teaching yoga and other wellness practices in my community thinking it will help other people with similar or different health conditions.

In that journey, I decided to become a certified yoga teacher. I have applied for a yoga teacher training scholarship from Africa Yoga Project 4 times failing but in 2018 on my fifth application, I won it. Later I took many teacher training on wellness, including breath-body mind with (www.breath-body-mind.com), mind-body well-being with (www.mindbodywellbeing.org) , trauma-informed yoga with (www.radika.org), and mindfulness self-compassion with (www.self-compassion.org), now I am finalizing 300 Hour Yoga Teacher Training with Jivamukti Yoga (www.jivamuktiyoga.com)

Finally, together with my fellow yoga teacher and friend Alex H. Muganwa we have founded a wellness social enterprise (www.livewellrwanda.com) with the aim to serve our local communities through yoga, mindfulness, and other wellness activities. You can join my classes via www.livewellrwanda.com. In my classes, I create a safe space for growth and healing for my students. I invite you to join me to walk and explore our inner space which is a bigger world we don’t give much attention but yet it has much for our growth and healing, together we will breathe, sweat, laugh, share, and learn. Come as you are and give it a try.
