Ghana

I discovered yoga when I started cognitive therapy to overcome my anxiety disorder.

I am a yoga alliance 200-HR RYT* and received training from Bliss Yoga Accra [Ghana].

Dzifa’s journey into the world of yoga commenced nearly a decade ago, sparked by an unexpected encounter – post-Thanksgiving dinner discomfort. This fortuitous introduction to yoga unraveled its transformative powers with immediate clarity. Confronted with scoliosis since the tender age of 18, Dzifa discovered within yoga a profound pathway to self-exploration and holistic healing.

Driven by an unwavering commitment to deepen his understanding and connection with this ancient practice, Dzifa embarked on a transformative path, culminating in the completion of a 200-HR Yoga Teacher Training program in 2022. He teaches Vinyasa and Hatha Yoga. He also fervently delves into the intricacies of the Ashtanga yoga practice, dedicatedly immersing himself in Mysore style sessions at least twice a week.

Throughout his journey, Dzifa’s dedication to yoga extends beyond the confines of his personal practice. Embracing the deep sense of community and discipline inherent within yoga, he draws inspiration from his experiences to craft invigorating and soul-enriching classes. Seamlessly blending elements of yoga discourse, pranayama, sometimes unusual stretches, and strength-building movements, Dzifa’s classes resonate with a harmonious blend of challenge and joy.

With a harmonious blend of lofi-afrobeats, hip hop, and jazz, Dzifa creates an ambiance that invigorates the senses, yet soothes the soul and calms the mind, guiding practitioners to new heights of holistic enrichment.
Join Dzifa each week at various serene locations throughout the vibrant city of Accra, where the bustling energy of the city melts away, allowing students to embark on a journey of self-discovery and empowerment. Reserve your space today and experience the blissful tranquility of his classes.
