My journey began when I chanced on a yoga page on Instagram in 2019, at the time I had zero knowledge on what the practice was about but personally, it was all about being able to do all those crazy yoga moves . (FLEXIBILITY) I read about the practice ,then decided to take a class.

In Darling’s experience, she discovered that yoga keeps one at peace, not just physically but also mentally and emotionally. So she wanted to share this gift with everyone.

I believe that in Yoga, Like in Life, Everyone has their own Journey. This is why my teaching takes an interest in learning everyone’s individual Journey and Serving them in a way that assists them along this Journey. I AM MOST EMPOWERED WHEN I EMPOWER OTHERS.

Marcelline is a young Cameroonian lady passionate about mental health and wellness . She started her journey as an engineer but with stress, shd turned to engineer the mind and body with the help of yoga.

Joanna Alma Nutakor’s journey with yoga began at a young age of 13 when she stepped into a yoga studio for the first time. Instantly captivated by the practice, she found yoga to be a perfect complement to her personality.

Bella is a Psychotherapeutic yoga professional and a Certified Baptiste Power Yoga Teacher. She is based in Mombasa and is honored to share the holistic effects of Yoga with anyone she gets to teach and/or engages with in wellness talk.

Leonidah Nanjala is a certified yoga teacher and storyteller who is passionate about healthy living. Throughout her career as a performing artist until now, she has embraced yoga as a practice to keep her healthy, energized and rejuvenated. Leonidah believes in a world where everyone is healthy and thriving.

Oluwabukunmi is a certified yoga teacher from Yoga’s African Roots and Yoga with Davina. She is a multidisciplinary artist with movement as her primary medium, founder of Hearts Heartist – an organization that produces multifaceted performances and is invested in community development using dance, yoga/meditation, and other artistic explorations.

My name is Alex Gitonga. I grew up in Embu, on the slopes of Mount Kenya. It was during my time in school that my interest in yoga began. I came across a yoga book and as a member of my school’s acrobatics gymnastic team, I was inspired by the various poses shown.
