“Yoga for me is the backbone of my life. It has been the most consistent aspect in my life that brings me peace and joy.” Melissa is a 200H YTT trained instructor. She has been teaching hatha yoga in the Gambia since 2016 when she established Yoga Bliss Gambia. Through community engagement, she strives to bring awareness about Yoga to Gambia. Melissa offers sessions encompassing emphasis on breath and mindfulness through movement. Melissa also runs a weekly morning session on the beach, which is grounding and soothing.
